Sections

This project is a secondary data analysis, and as such, there are no novel observational data that result from the study. The data to be analyzed will be briefly described further.

MIDUS2 data were collected from 2004 – 2006, according to the protocol briefly described in the linked method section, and more fully in various sources (Brim et al., 2004; Radler, 2014; Ryff et al., 2021; University of Wisconsin Institute on Aging, 2004). The specific data source to be used for this project were drawn from project 1 of MIDUS2, out of the section on personal beliefs.

MIDUS data are available from the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR). To replicate the results of the subsequent analyses, users must obtain a copy of MIDUS2 project 1 data and import the data into their computing environment.
